DIYETKOLIK PRIVACY POLICY

Please read this agreement before using the DIYETKOLIK application. The application is owned and operated by PCI Yazılım Danışmanlık ve Organizasyon Ltd. Şti. ("DIYETKOLIK"). DIYETKOLIK offers various paid and free services to support healthy living. In addition to helping you obtain, create, and track diet plans, also allows you to communicate with dietitians and answers your questions. It also provides content to help you learn about relevant topics and enables easy access to macro/micro nutrient values with its rich database of nutritional information.

DIYETKOLIK places great importance on user privacy. When you visit the application, register, or use it, certain information is collected from you or provided by you, and this information is kept confidential. The procedures and principles regarding this are outlined in this policy. The data you provide will be used strictly in accordance with the purpose and scope defined in the User Agreement and will not be shared with third parties. In short, this agreement is an annex and an inseparable part of the User Agreement.

By benefiting from our services, you are deemed to have accepted this policy. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using the application. Additionally, by using the application, you acknowledge that you are over the age of 18 and legally authorized to sign the agreement.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

In order for the application to function properly and provide services, the following mandatory information is collected from you, our users:

Information provided by the user:

• During account registration:name, surname, email address, phone number, gender, date of birth;

• During profile creation process:additional information that the user chooses to share, such as location, interests, lifestyle, habits, photos, and videos;

• During payment:card number and other information provided to the payment service provider;

•Information provided when contacting DIYETKOLIK;

•Information shared about other people, if applicable when using the application;

•Interaction with other users and shared content, if provided by the application.

Information provided by third parties:• Information shared by other users while using DIYETKOLIK services.

Information collected by the application:• Login information, functions used by the user, interactions made, IP address, device type and information, location data.

Use of Google User Data:The DIYETKOLIK application collects only the email address and name and surname of Google users. This data is used for the following purposes:

1. Authentication and account creation:To ensure users can securely log in and create their accounts.
2. Providing personalized services:To customize accounts using basic profile information in order to offer a better experience.

Data Sharing and Security:The collected email address and name:

• Will not be shared with any third parties.
• Will only be used to perform functions related to user accounts.
• Will be securely stored and retained only as long as necessary and for the legally required duration.

Data Retention Period:Email address and name information will be stored for as long as the user account remains active and for the legally required period.

Data Security:All necessary technical and administrative security measures are taken to protect the confidentiality of user data.

USE AND SHARING OF INFORMATION

• Personal data shared when you register or fill out forms and surveys will be collected as part of the nature of the work. In these and similar actions, Diyetkolik commits to comply with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and the Personal Data Protection Commitment published in the application. Under no circumstances will your personal data be shared with third parties or institutions.
• When you provide information to the application, you are responsible for ensuring that the information is accurate, up-to-date, and legally compliant.
• We remind you that you, as the content creator or owner, are responsible for ensuring that the content of your actions, shares, and communications within the application is legal. Diyetkolik has no obligation to check this according to Law No. 5651, but if it becomes aware of illegal content, especially publicly shared content, it may remove it or, if the violation occurred through communication, may refer the matter to legal authorities.
• The services and other content offered in the application are informational and Diyetkolik is not responsible for any health problems, material, or moral damages arising from the use of this information. Similarly, when you ask a question to a dietitian through paid services offered within the app, the Diyetkolik Dietitian can see the information you entered before creating a diet plan as part of the service. Additionally, if you provide any information beyond what you entered into the app while messaging them, you will be deemed to have provided that information with your consent. Diyetkolik has an additional commitment regarding the confidentiality of information and the protection of personal data between the dietitians and itself. There are no guarantees that the information provided by the dietitians will produce the expected benefits.
• The user’s information will be used for fulfilling company policies and legal obligations, information security, finance and accounting processes, detection, prevention, investigation of illegal activities including fraud, offering services and promotions, analysis, management, development and personalization, user identification, development and personalization of Diyetkolik’s application, marketing analysis, and conducting advertisement/campaign/promotion processes, membership support, contract processes, and tracking requests and complaints. This information may be shared with third parties/companies for financial processes with related business partners, marketing, advertising, communication, security, infrastructure, and IT services; for service customization, personalization, and optimization; for providing credit card or other payment methods, and offering customer services.
• DIYETKOLIK has adopted various principles for data security and will not share, sell, or allow the use of any individual or corporate data you provide for purposes other than those stated in the collection and use.
• Personal information may also be used to contact you when necessary. Information requested by DIYETKOLIK, or provided by you, or information related to transactions made through the application, may be used by DIYETKOLIK and its partners for statistical evaluations, database creation, and market research purposes, without revealing the user's identity, outside the purposes and scope defined by the "Terms of Use."
• Individual/corporate information about the user, including name and surname, address, phone number, email address, and any other information that identifies the user, is understood as personal data. Unless otherwise stated in this privacy notice, DIYETKOLIK will not disclose any individual/corporate information to companies or third parties not in cooperation with DIYETKOLIK

EXCEPTIONAL CASES

a. Cases where compliance with legal obligations is required,
b. Performance of the contract,
c. Investigation or inquiry by authorized administrative and/or judicial authorities,
d. Cases where it is necessary to disclose information in order to protect users' rights or security, where explicit consent may not be sought, and this confidentiality provision may be breached.

Your personal data and credit card information are not stored by DIYETKOLIK and are directly transmitted to the bank and intermediary payment institution by your application market provider. DIYETKOLIK employs the highest security measures in its systems to prevent data loss and unauthorized access to information.

When you respond to a survey on DIYETKOLIK, the information you provide may be used by DIYETKOLIK and its collaborating individuals or organizations for direct marketing, statistical analysis, and to create a special database.

SECURITY

DIYETKOLIK commits to keeping confidential information private and secure, ensuring the security and integrity of confidential information, and taking all necessary technical, legal, and administrative measures required by applicable laws and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 to prevent the disclosure of confidential information to the public, unauthorized use, or disclosure to any individual. In any case, the user is responsible for not sharing their password and account information with third parties in order to use the application.

NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION AND ITS USAGE

In case of any potential system issues, and to address them promptly and to provide a better user experience, information such as users' IP addresses, geographical location, browser type, referral source, visit duration, and page views may be collected for marketing purposes when necessary. This data/information is used by DIYETKOLIK to generally identify users and generate comprehensive demographic data.

THIRD PARTY SITES AND REFERRALS

Through the DİYETKOLİK application, links (connections) can be given to other sites not operated by DİYETKOLİK and when the user clicks on them, they are directed to third party sites and applications. Third party forms and surveys that we have agreements with can also be published. DİYETKOLİK does not bear any responsibility for the privacy and security practices and policies of third party sites and/or mobile applications that you access in this way, the content of their products and services, and any visual, textual content they contain, or in the event of damage due to data loss etc.

If the user is granted access to their accounts on third party social media sites in order to become a member of the application, the user is responsible for the password and account security on these sites.

COOKIES

Users' application usage information can be obtained using cookies, which are technical communication files. The technical communication files in question are small text files that a website sends to the user's browser to be stored in the main memory. The technical communication file facilitates the use of the Internet by storing the status and preferences about the application. It helps to obtain statistical information such as the number of visits, purpose, number of visitors, duration of visits and to dynamically produce advertisements and content from user pages specially designed for users. The technical communication file is not designed to receive data or any other personal information from the main memory or your e-mail. Most browsers are initially designed to accept the technical communication file, but users can change the settings so that the technical communication file does not arrive or a warning is given when the technical communication file is sent. CHANGES

Diyetkolik has the right to make any corrections or updates in the “Privacy Center” section at any time, unilaterally, without prior notice. New provisions are deemed to have entered into force on the date they are announced. If you continue to use the application and benefit from the services, you are deemed to have accepted the changes.
